Conflict Prevention Guidelines

PH Connect is a warm introduction — not a marketplace. The more intentional members are before entering into any agreement, the less chance there is of misunderstanding or conflict. Prevention is always better than resolution.

• Agree clearly on what service is being provided, the timeline, and the cost before any work begins.
• Put your agreement in writing — even a simple WhatsApp message confirming the details provides clarity for both parties. PH Connect provides a Simple Service Agreement Template for this purpose.
• Approach every interaction remembering that this person is part of your wider community of faith.

• Attempt to resolve the matter privately and directly with the other party first.
• Approach the conversation with humility, a willingness to listen, and a desire to find a fair resolution.
• If direct resolution is not possible, contact PH Connect through the private reporting system. Do not take the matter to social media or public forums.
• PH Connect's role in any dispute is limited to reviewing listings and removing members where serious misconduct is confirmed. We are not a court and cannot adjudicate financial or legal disputes.

To build trust within the community, PH Connect operates a member vouching system:

• New members may be vouched for by an existing verified PH Connect member who can confirm their identity and good standing within the Christian community.
• Vouching is a personal endorsement — members who vouch for others are encouraged to do so genuinely and responsibly.
• Vouched members will carry a verified marker on their profile, helping others make informed decisions.
• Vouching does not transfer liability — PH Connect and vouching members accept no responsibility for the conduct of those they have vouched for.

Every member receives a unique personal invite code upon joining PH Connect:

• Invite codes allow existing members to personally invite people they know and trust into the community.
• When a new member signs up using an invite code, a connection is recorded between the inviter and the new member, creating a natural trust trail.
• Members are encouraged to only share their invite code with people they would personally vouch for.
• By sharing your invite code you are acting as an informal ambassador for the standards and values of PH Connect.

Members agree upon sign up that:

• Any dispute involving another PH Connect member will not be taken to social media, public forums, or any other public platform.
• Public naming or shaming of another member in connection with a PH Connect interaction will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform.
• All concerns and complaints must be directed to PH Connect privately through the reporting system.

This protects individuals, protects the platform, and protects the reputation of the wider Christian community.

• Reviews and recommendations can only be submitted 48 hours after a job or service is marked as complete — this prevents reactive, emotion-driven posts.
• PH Connect operates a recommendations-only model in its early stages — members can leave positive endorsements but disputes are handled privately, never publicly.
• New members have a 30-day probationary period during which they can browse the directory but are not yet visible to others for paid work, allowing time for trust to build naturally.
• Profiles are reviewed before going live, ensuring quality and intention from the start.

No policy can guarantee that every interaction will go perfectly. What PH Connect commits to is creating an environment where members are set up for success — with clear expectations, practical tools, and a community culture rooted in grace, honesty, and respect.

We are a community first. The platform exists to serve that community — not the other way around.
